Writings: Lamentations, Ezra, Nehemiah
The third category of books included in the Hebrew Bible is called the Ketuvim, or Writings. These writings include Psalms, Proverbs, Job, the Song of Songs, Ruth, Lamentations, Ecclesiastes, Esther, Daniel, Ezra-Nehemiah, and Chronicles.
The three books of Writings I link to from this page are a bit on the short side, so I’ve grouped them onto a single page for ease of navigation.
Lamentations
In Jewish tradition, Lamentations is traditionally read on the ninth of Av, a day commemorating the destruction of the First and Second Temples.
